Aviary Design & Construction
Our custom designs are tailored to the client’s available space and needs, the type of birds that will inhabit the environment and the bird’s flight pattern, their need to play, roam and forage. We consult with you on size, style and placement. We try to make the birds’ space as natural and accommodating as possible, so that they get enough exercise, have the opportunity to fly, climb perches and branches, forage on the ground and nest.
The planning and design stage is critical to the success of the project. We work with you to refine the concept before we move to construction.

Aviary Naturals manages all aspects of construction including ventilation, plumbing, electric and lighting.
Our aviaries are constructed of pre treated wood and include full spectrum lighting that replicates natural sunlight, necessary to maintain optimum health of the birds.
Proper nutrition is essential to the health and longevity of your birds. As an authority on avian nutrition, Mr. Brooks has developed bird seed mixes for zoos and breeders and suggests a species specific diet of seeds, nuts and supplements. Bird’s nutritional needs change seasonally and we can support those needs year round by recommending the best diet and delivering those seed mixes to you.
Bird Selection
Many clients call us to create an aviary home for their birds and others ask us to assist them in the bird selection for their aviary. Many types of birds are well suited to living long and happily in aviary environments including parrots of various sizes and types, cockatiels, love birds, doves, parakeets, canaries and finches. We will assist you in curating a collection of birds that are suited to your space, interests and tastes whether that’s a macaw in an office aviary with its splendid color and ability to talk and entertain, or birds of a gentler nature for a nursing home aviary whose song, color and movement bring a sense of wonder and delight to the residents.
Maintenance
Maintaining your aviary can be an act of love and a bonding experience with your birds or you may want to have professionals take care of the cleaning, sanitizing, grooming, and delivery of food, bedding, perches, nests and other accessories.
For odor elimination and cleaning we use animal specific products, formulated to the pH level of birds.
Our microorganism based products remove odor and clean animal enclosures without harmful disinfectants, enzymatics or olfactory masking agents that can harm your birds’ respiratory system and potentially shorten their lives.
Seasonal Redesign
Aviaries can be beautifully updated with a new look, fresh branches and perches, botanicals or seasonally appropriate features such as nests, bird houses or bird baths. Refreshed paint, seasonally updated floral design and accessories can breathe new life into this special environment.
Grooming & Cleaning
Our experienced team can keep your birds healthy, happy and comfortable by trimming beaks, wings and nails as needed. Grooming services are offered onsite and reduce the stress and strain (on you and the birds) of taking the birds to the vet or groomer.
We can assist you in maintaining a clean aviary environment and minimizing pathogenic bacteria to help support the health and longevity of the birds.
